Dedicated Deputy Protection for Surfside WA Home Owners Association

Pacific County created a specialized law enforcement position for the Surfside Homeowners Association (SHOA). This role, known as the SHOA DEPUTY, is designed to provide focused protection and services to the Surfside community, enhancing safety and security within the HOA. The position is funded by the Surfside HOA.

The SHOA DEPUTY will serve exclusively within the Surfside Homeowners Association, focusing on crime prevention, patrolling, and responding to incidents. This dedicated approach ensures the Deputy understands and addresses the specific needs of the Surfside community.

While the SHOA DEPUTY’s primary duties are within the HOA, the Deputy can also respond to emergencies or support other officers outside the area when needed.

The SHOA cannot dictate the Deputy’s duties, ensuring the Deputy’s actions are governed by the standards of the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office, maintaining professional independence and objectivity.

The position is funded by the SHOA, with the role ending if funding is discontinued. This agreement ensures a dedicated and specialized law enforcement presence within Surfside.

We thank Pacific County deputies who provide invaluable service to the community, demonstrating dedication and professionalism in ensuring public safety and well-being. Their commitment to protecting all pacific county residents and fostering a secure environment is truly commendable.
