Peninsula Firefighter’s Association to Host Annual “Toys for Peninsula Kids” Event

The Peninsula Firefighter’s Association is excited to announce the return of its cherished holiday tradition, Toys for Peninsula Kids. Scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2024, this annual Christmas event aims to bring the magic of the season to children in the local community by providing gifts for those in need.

This heartwarming initiative is only possible with the generosity of donors. The Toys for Peninsula Kids program welcomes both monetary donations and new toys, which are tax-deductible contributions. Donors will receive a tax-deduction postcard in January 2025, detailing a summary of the event’s impact. Through the kindness of the community, Peninsula families facing financial hardship are given a chance to provide holiday gifts for their children, ensuring that every child experiences the joy of the season.

On the day of the event, children and their families, including grandparents and other loved ones, will have the opportunity to shop at the toy store set up by the Firefighter’s Association, free of charge. This setup allows families to choose the toys they believe best fit their children’s needs and personalities, fostering a personal and meaningful holiday experience.
