The celebration begins with lively holiday sing-alongs and a special performance by the Center Stage Kids. Their spirited songs and joyful energy set the perfect tone for a family-friendly evening.
🎤 5:00 p.m. — Christmas Carols by Ilwaco High School Choir
At Mary Lou’s Stage on New 3rd Street (next to Castaway’s), the talented Ilwaco High School Choir will fill the evening air with classic Christmas carols. This annual performance is a favorite tradition and always draws a crowd.
☕ Free Hot Cocoa
Guests can warm up with complimentary hot cocoa, adding a cozy touch to the cool coastal night.
🎄 5:30 p.m. — Tree Lighting with Santa
The magic reaches its peak at 5:30 p.m., when Santa Claus himself arrives to help light the community Christmas tree located next to Long Beach Tavern (LBT). As the lights sparkle to life, families can snap photos, share holiday wishes, and soak in the festive glow.
From children’s performances to choir caroling and a dazzling tree lighting with Santa, this year’s Holidays at the Beach celebration promises to bring warmth, joy, and community spirit to the heart of Long Beach.
