Shelburne Pub Blends Historic Charm With Pacific Northwest Cuisine in Seaview

Shelburne Pub offers locally inspired food, craft cocktails, regional wines and Northwest beer inside the historic Shelburne Hotel at 4415 Pacific Way in Seaview.

For more than 100 years, the Shelburne has welcomed residents and visitors to its distinctive old-world setting. Today, its pub menu combines familiar comfort food with fresh seafood, locally sourced ingredients and creative flavors.

Pub Snacks and Small Plates

Guests can begin with toasted DuneSide sourdough served with whipped rosemary-garlic butter. Other snacks include marinated olives, zesty edamame, seasoned potato fries and Dirty Fries topped with chèvre, pepperoncini, pork belly, garlic and Portland-style ketchup.

Small plates include:

  • Hummus with vegetables and crispy pita chips
  • Tre-Fin Smoked Salmon Boxty
  • Bang Bang Brussels Sprouts
  • Coconut Calamari
  • Buttermilk Fried Oysters

Several appetizers are marked vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free.

Salads

The Caesar salad features chopped romaine, garlic breadcrumbs, anchovy vinaigrette and shaved Parmesan, with optional anchovies.

The Rogue Blue Cheese Salad combines romaine, red flame grapes, candied pecans and creamy blue cheese dressing. The Thai Salad features shredded cabbage, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, cold noodles, basil, cilantro, wontons, Thai vinaigrette and peanut sauce.

Diners may add grilled chicken, fried chicken or smoked salmon to their salads.

Seafood, Steaks and Pub Favorites

The dinner menu highlights Pacific Northwest seafood alongside classic pub favorites.

Tre-Fin Wild King Salmon is served with colcannon mashed potatoes, broccolini, chimichurri and charred lemon. Local rockfish and chips comes with house-made tartar sauce, Portland-style ketchup and lemon.

Other entrées include:

  • New York Steak with colcannon mashed potatoes and broccolini
  • Crispy Chicken Sandwich with slaw, pickles and achiote aioli
  • Kimchi Fried Rice
  • Painted Hills Farms Burger with fries
  • Macaroni and Cheese

The kimchi fried rice can be topped with a sunny-side egg or pork belly. The macaroni and cheese may be upgraded with pork belly or smoked salmon, while a veggie patty is available for the burger.

Desserts

Shelburne Pub’s dessert menu offers several ways to finish the meal:

  • Flourless Chocolate Torte with berry coulis and vanilla whipped cream
  • Key Lime Pie with whipped cream and lime zest
  • Seasonal Fruit Crisp with Tillamook vanilla ice cream
  • Ice Cream Float with root beer or marionberry soda

The chocolate torte is gluten-free, and the seasonal fruit crisp can be prepared vegan.

Guests can also “Buy the Kitchen a Round,” with the entire amount distributed to the kitchen staff as a tip.

Cocktails, Wine and Beer

House cocktails include the Blackberry Buckaroo, made with bourbon, blackberry, lime and ginger beer. A nonalcoholic version is also available, with the featured drink benefiting Harbor and Pacific County poverty-response efforts.

Other house drinks include the Blue Cheese Martini, Bee’s Knees, Smoking Room, Shelburne Spritz, Seasonal Mule and Enigma. Classic selections include the Rob Roy, Whiskey Sour, Last Word, Ford, Jungle Bird, Horse’s Neck and traditionally served absinthe.

Dessert-inspired choices include the Pick Me Up, prepared with vanilla-infused vodka, cold-brew coffee and coffee liqueur, and the Cold Brew Manhattan. Either may be turned into an affogato-style cocktail.

The wine list includes sparkling, rosé, white and red selections from Washington, Oregon, France, Italy, Spain and other wine-producing regions.

Draft choices feature rotating beer from Fort George, North Jetty Brewing and Buoy Beer Company, along with cider and a rotating Pfriem selection. Nonalcoholic choices include iced tea, lemonade, cranberry lemonade, coffee, kombucha, soda, ginger beer and sparkling water.

Happy Hour and Wednesday Wine Special

Happy hour is offered daily from noon until 5 p.m.

Every Wednesday, guests can receive 50% off any bottle of wine with the purchase of food. The pub also offers a “Girl Dinner” special consisting of a small Caesar salad, Parmesan fries and a choice of martini, lemon drop or Pick Me Up cocktail.
